Test results with the OneTouch Blood Glucose Monitoring System are presented in milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL). Normal ranges for blood glucose in an adult are 80 to 120 mg/dL before a meal and less than 180 mg/dL after a meal. The middle or ring fingers are used for blood glucose tests (second and third fingers). You may want to avoid using your little finger due to the skin being thin.
