The reviews are mixed and it didnt help my decision. So skeptical me needed to just buy it. I usually write reviews after a month but to see my chub rub fade so fast I just had too. My inner thighs are very dark and for a long time I was too embarrased to wear anything revealing, but buying this my thighs look like the rest of my skin tone, not darker. It gave me my color back. Its like sunscreen very thick and hard to rub in but once you get past that. its beautiful. Not much of a smell so good on that. I actually wore shorts outside and didnt walk funny. Will I buy this again yes. I plan to incorporate this into my daily routine
New formula, yet seller Pharmapacks still sells this product using the label of the old formula w/ Hydroquinone. Contact seller a week ago and they didn't bother to respond. My rating both reflects the performance of the product and the customer service of the seller.
First time using hydroquinone after 35 years on this earth and I am very impressed. I have been using this in conjunction with Koji White bars which work great, but have seen a rapid change with the introduction of Fade Milk. I have had hyperpigmentation for as long as I can remember, and have dealt with it by just trying to tan my skin enough to hide it. I did this for nearly twenty years. When I began using the Koji White, I finally understood just how much damage I had done to my skin, because as my overall skintone lightened, I could see years and years of scarring PLUS sun damage I never even knew I had. Understanding what a long road I had ahead of me, I added Fade Milk to my skincare routine and have been very happy. Things to know about this product: -I use it at the end of the day. I hate the smell. It was terrible the first time but I gradually got used to it, but not enough to feel confident enough to wear it out in public. Someone said it smells like perm. Yes, it smells like perm. Mild perm. It might be OK for someone who is used to stronger stuff. -Use sunscreen. As a matter of fact, before you introduce any other skincare products into your routine you should become addicted to water, sunscreen, and sleep. Make those your top priorities and you will see dramatic changes in your appearance. -If you are like me, and have been putting this off for years--decades even, your skintone will be look hella patchy at first. My skin looked so patchy I wanted to cry. It still looks pretty bad now but I can see that the dark marks are fading slowly but surely. -You cannot use this for more than three months at a time! DO NOT use this for more than three months at a time! OK, honestly I don't know about this from personal use but all dermatologists say this and there have been horror stories from people OVER-using hydroquinone. -I am not a black woman but as a melanated woman I too had reservations about using this product due to socio-political implications. It's OK. This is lightening my skin but not beyond my natural skintone--which I have not seen since I was like 12 years old. I am using this for overall better tone and to lighten hyperpigmentation and if you're using it for the same reasons then it's OK to at least try it. -I am also following a ketogenic diet. I believe the high fat content of my diet helps repair my damaged skin cells faster. I also believe that it is keeping my skin more supple. So keep that in mind. If you have dry skin and a lowfat diet you may want an additional moisturizer on top of this. -I also noticed better results when I was taking collagen but I'm too cheap to spend $20/mo on that stuff right now. TL;DR: this stuff is great but takes time so be patient with yourself and LOVE YOUR SKIN ALWAYS.
I love this product. It does exactly what it says it will. Fades spots, moisturizes skin. I saw a difference within a week but, I thought it was just wishful thinking. After 3 weeks the difference is even more pronounced. Best product I have used for this purpose. Warning though, the smell is unpleasant until it soaks in. I hope they are working on an unscented version.
Palmer's Skin Success fade milk really does work over time. It does take a little while to work so you have to be patient and consistent with application but I have seen reduction in the appearance of brown spots in my skin. It is a little more noticeable in the winter, in the summer a little bit of sun quickly darkens spots again so it is more difficult to judge the progression of the lightening. I have seen results with this product. The only drawback to this lotion is it is a little bit greasy. I prefer lotion to be more sheer and less greasy. But it does soak in and only leaves a tiny biy of an oily feel on the skin. I can put up with that because I am happy with the results I get from this product.
