Panasonic's new line of digital Palmcorder camcorders offers a wide variety of features to satisfy consumers who want the most of their digital camcorder. The PV-DV73 features LCD display of 2.5 inches or larger, high optical and digital zoom capability, built-in auto lights and easy PC connectivity. This PC-friendly camcorder is ready to handle a variety of multimedia applications. With IEEE 1394 digital interface and with an additional USB port available, downloading video images to a PC is simple. There, they can be edited, digitally enhanced, placed in e-mails or added to web sites. The PV-DV73 has been developed to maximize the quality of the video recording by concentrating on those features, which consumers will use most often. A removable 8 MB SD Memory Card for saving and transferring the digital still images either directly from the SD card or via the PC IEEE 1394 or USB connection is also included on the PV-DV73. By adding a larger 3.5" LCD, the PV-DV73 increases the viewing area on the LCD for easier recording and viewing during the playback mode. The PV-DV73 also features a zoom microphone, which works in conjunction with the optical zoom, creating a natural correlation between the viewed images and the audio being heard.
