Parent's Choice Plush Baby Blanket, Ivory

I recieved this blanket from Stellar Parent Panel and initially I loved the feel and how plush it was. After a few washes it lost the softness a little bit but we still get plenty of use out of it.

My initial reaction to this blanket was the excessive plastic hang tags (that you usually find on socks) to attach the informational paper in order to be removed prior to washing. I was glad to see how easy it is to care for being machine washable which is a must have feature. While the blanket is light weight, soft and cozy, I was surprised one side was super soft and the other was fleece lined. My youngest is about to be two years old and didn't care for this blanket, so I didn't find too many other uses for it. Overall this is a nice blanket, but not my favorite. This blanket is so soft and cozy! It has a faux fur type side and then a more plush side on the reverse, with a nice satiny trim around the edges. My 21 month old daughter loved snuggling on the couch with it, taking it to bed, and laying on top of the furry side while reading books. When I first unpackaged it I was a little worried because the faux fur seemed to rub off and leave fluff on my clothing. But after tossing it in the wash and dryer, there was no more fluff coming off at all. My daughter and I just love this sweet, cozy little blanket that has a touch of luxury feel to it while remaining very low maintenance and easy to care for. The minute I opened up the blanket, my daughter was all over it! She loves sleeping with it on her and putting her stuffed animals to bed with the blanket on. The blanket is very cuddly and soft. I received the super soft Parent's Choice Blanket as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel. The blanket is great, and I would definitely get it again! The blanket is so warm, and was perfect for some unexpectedly cold mornings we had recently. I used it both in the car for our commute to daycare and in the stroller for a quick jog. Also, the larger size meant it was perfect for my daughter to play hide and seek with. Even the cat decided it was his favorite blanket to sleep on during the day. Because the cat liked the blanket so much I did wash it a few times and it came out softer each time. The blanket is really soft and is extra warm with two pieces of fabric. The edge is satin which makes it feel very luxurious. I also really liked the ivory color which goes well with the colors in our daughter's room. Overall, the blanket was a big hit with our family and we're excited to keep using it as the weather gets colder!
