Patricia Matelasse Bedspread, Blue

This bedspread is an excellent value. The color is very rich and makes the entire room look warm and inviting. I washed it before putting it on the bed, the size is true, it didn't shrink, and it still looks terrific. I would highly recommend this bedspread.

This spread is exactly the color I needed, even though the photo makes it look sky blue, it is more of a gray blue or teel blue. It is generous in size, and washes up beautifully. Everyone who has seen it has asked about it, and been impressed with the quality for the price I paid.

I am very pleased with this bedspread. It it very large and hangs long over the sides of my king size bed. Finally I don't need a bedskirt. It is light weight which is great for summers in the south. The color is a soft shimmery blue and matched my sheets perfectly. I was really quite surprised how much I liked this bedspread, it was a great find!

I didnt realize it's polyester when ordering. Matelasse usually means cotton so was disappointed and returned it without taking it out of the package.

I read the reviews about the color and ordered anyway. The first thought I had when it came out of the box was that it had a green tint. Surprise? It is still pretty but not like the iced baby blue color on the ad. I call it a dusty blue with a hint of green. Fits the bed great, a nice weight and darn good price for a king. I have a tall bed and it reaches the floor. Washed nicely too.
