I ordered 3 chicken gizzards and I received only 1 of the 3

Label says “May contain hearts.” The two containers that I just bought had 9 each! Too many and too intentional.

Fantastic product and a great value; unlike other chicken parts, in which you're paying for a lot of bones; unless you're paying a heck of a lot more for boneless cuts). Incredibly easy to prepare. A pressure cooker, with lots of spices, some chicken stock, coarsely chopped onion and garlic, some tomatoes and/or tomato paste and whatever else you can think of - think harissa, chili peppers, adobo... you get the idea). Let it go for about 40 minutes (I use two containers at a time), cook up some rice and you've got a feast with tender, succulent gizzards and a wonderful broth. One of the easiest meals to prepare, and most satisfying. And, especially in the summer months, no need for a stove or oven at all. (I use the microwave rice cooker, which Walmart sells for a quite reasonable price. 15 minutes, no fuss no hassle). Some people might have an aversion to organ meats in general, or may have had bad experiences with poorly prepared gizzards in the past. Give them a(nother) chance, Wallet-friendly and (as Alton Brown would say) Good Eats.
