Philips Avent Ultra Soft Pacifier, 0-6 months, Blue/Teal, 4 pack, SCF212/40

I was very happy when I first tried these pacifiers. After the 0-3 month soothie, I was having a hard time finding a pacifier my son would take until this one. He actually loved this one. My only issue is that when I went to sterilize it I realized that water was getting trapped in the nipple after sterilizing and after my son was using it, which is a concern due to possible mold/bacteria growth. I even went and bought another pack just in case the first ones I bought were defective, but they did the same thing.

I gave this product 3 stars because it wasn't great and wasn't terrible. My newborn uses 2 other styles of pacifier and he did take this one from time to time but still preferred the others. I did like the sterilization case. I would recommend it is worth a try for your baby, as every baby is different. For this particular style the flex fit was nice. I was gifted the Princess and the Swan Pacifier's from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was so glad to receive these items.This product is very well constructed. It has a protective shield around the pacifier to keep your baby from getting any skin irritations. This product comes with a carrying case to carry the Pacifier's in. The protective case keeps the items from getting any germ's. This ensures safety for my little one.Although, it has a carrying case; I like to deep clean my child's pacifier with a mild dish soap. This product is awesome. I definitely will recommend.

I have used Philips Avent products for both of my children, and this is by far my favorite- the softer plastic of the FlexiFit shield definitely reduces the number of marks on my little one's face, especially since she is a belly sleeper. I don't often use carrying cases, but this one stayed shut unlike others I have had in the past. It is really convenient that you could sterilize it in the same case- I usually just wash pacifiers with soap and water, but this was so easy to use that I will likely sterilize them more now. The instructions are etched into the bottom of the case and there is a 'fill line' so you do not have to remember anything. Another design perk- the nipple of the pacifier itself is shaded such that the size (6-18 m) is etched in there so you can see it- which is incredibly helpful when you have a pile of pacifiers and can't remember which ones are which! My only complaints are that the 'button' part of the front of the pacifier seems really big compared to the overall size, and my daughter rejected it at first (gagging, etc.)- she did eventually come around to it, but I was surprised by the reaction since we've used this brand so much in the past.
