Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer Series 3100, 1.0 CT

I was intrigued by the dial on the trimmer that permitted the change of lengths with the turn of a dial. No snapping attachments on and off. It works like a charm, doing the job with ease and speed. Great for travel.. The charge lasts for a good while. Presently surprised with the product. A very good value.

I can't say enjoy enough on how good this shaver is. It has an awesome battery life and adjustments that will satisfy the perfect beard height. This unit replaced my 20 year old Norelco Maverick T-2000 trimmer that would no longer hold a charge.

The shaving blades is quite wide which can be good and bad. The bad part is trimming the moustache near the upper lip. It cuts very fast and the blades are sharp. The rechargeable batteries are good quality. Fits well in ones hand

The Philips Norelco Beard trimmer Series 3100 is a very good beard trimmer. Having a built-in 10 precision length settings is great, especially since you can change the length settings so easily with the adjustable wheel. The washable heads are easy to clean and keep clean. It does not irritate the skin. It is also good to use to trim the back of the neck. The fact that it is cordless is a big plus. I would definitely recommend to others.

This Philips Norelco beard trimmer was nicely packaged, not taking up too much space and was fairly easy to get out of the box. I let it charge over night before using. I have a goatee and figured this would be a great device for me. And it was, mostly. The blades were nice and sharp, making the trimming easy and efficient. The guide does come off fairly easily for detailed trimming, but with the sharp blades, it made some of the detail work uncomfortable, but that is to be expected. I did like the mechanism used to set the guard length. Unlike other shavers, it keeps the setting even when putting a lot of pressure on shaver. The power was strong and the trimming fast, but I have one major complaint. The guard, or guide, used to set the trim length has a different design then ones I've used in the past. This one is more open. On one hand, it is nice because it makes it so the trimmer doesn't clog up with trimmings, but on the other hand, it makes a big mess. Trimmings go flying everywhere and end up making a big mess all over the counter and sink. So this is a trade off. If you can live with the mess, this device cuts clean, fast and smoothly.
