Planters Honey Roasted Peanuts, 6 oz Bag

Their honey roasted peanuts actually used to be *sweet*, and had a noticeable outer coating. You could feel it as you bit through to the nut inside. It's been a while since I've bought them, but this will be the last time if this is their new recipe. It's as if they're just sprayed with a thin brown hint of honey & salt, but after the first couple chews you're left with a mouthful of unflavored peanut crud. This is less than what I'd expect from generic nuts on a Southwest flight.

Planters Honey Roasted Peanuts are out of this world! I received a sample of these nuts to try, and I was incredibly pleased. They aren't overly salty, and have just the right amount of sweetness. The packaging was attractive and kept the nuts very fresh. They were crunchy and whole-no halves or pieces. I will definitely be buying these nuts in the future.

They're dry roasted so not oily and not too sweet, just right. I like that they're not sticky and don't leave my fingers smeared with sugar. Reading the nutrition label, I appreciate the low sugar and sodium so it's a healthy option. I sometimes munch them by the handful and particularly enjoy creating a snack platter with fruit and cheese, like those packaged snack combos but much cheaper.

Planters Honey Roasted peanuts are delicious and satisfying. I love to eat them all by themselves. They are also a great addition to a snack mix. They are the best honey roasted peanuts that I have found that are mass marketed. The only ones that are better are the small batches sold locally. Overall, it is a great product.
