Play Day Pink Bubble Chainsaw - Outdoor Pretend Play Toy for Kids

I bought this for my son's second birthday and it does not work properly. The bubbles all grouped together and did not blow out the way they should have.

My two girls are 5 and 7 years old and they absolutely love bubbles, so they were super excited to try out the Play Day Bubble Chainsaw! First thing we loved about this chainsaw was that it was PINK! You hardly see toys like that in pink, so my girls really enjoyed it. This toy comes with batteries (3 AA) and a 4oz bottle of bubbles, so you can play with it right out of the box, however, it is recommended to replace the batteries with new ones for best results. The opening for the bubble reservoir was plenty big and easy to fill. The lid fit tightly and we had no issues with bubbles leaking. I could almost fit the entire 4oz of bubble solution in the reservoir, but not quite. It took a few seconds to get the bubbles coming out once I pressed the ON button and I noticed that it helped if I tilted the end of the chainsaw downwards until the bubbles started. I like that you do not have to hold the ON button down the entire time while using. You can press the button once to turn on and then press again when you wish to turn off. The chainsaw sounds are fun and aren't overly loud which is nice. I wish there was a way to turn it off though, so you could still do the bubbles without the sounds if you wished. The chainsaw makes a good amount of bubbles when it's working well, unfortunately, the bubbles are usually very tiny and frequently collect at either side of the chainsaw where they blow out. This causes a huge clump of bubbles to just build up until you knock them off. My girls still like playing with this, but it's just not as exciting as it could have been.

The chainsaw produces a lot of bubbles and my daughter loved it... when it worked! It will no longer make bubbles and we have only used it a handful of times. Disappointing.

What kid doesn't love bubbles? This Play Day bubble chainsaw is so fun! It is a great size for small hands and so easy to use and press the trigger. The reservoir holds a good amount of bubble solution and allows them to play with it a little longer between refills! Very easy to fill and even comes with solution! Creates so many bubbles!! My kids just love it and go crazy! Fun to play pretend and get some exciting and fun bubbles along the way! The design is cute and the material is well made as well!

I am not super impressed with this chain saw. Once we got it, I was surprised and happy that my tween age son was so excited about it. He grabbed it and ran outside with the younger kids and they had a lot of fun with the bubbles until it started making weird sounds, within fifteen minutes of using it. We thought maybe the bubbles got into the noise part and it ruined the speaker or something because it got wet. Later, after it dried the sound returned to normal. Most of the time they were playing with it, the bubbles got clogged and stuck to the toy making a big bubble chain down the side of it not going out into the air for the little kids to chase. After a while it got stuck on and it wouldn't turn off. The last thing I was disappointed with is that it said it only came with demonstration batteries and you have to change them for it to work. We changed them and it seemed to work a little better after that, but it still had most of the same problems. I don't think I would ever recommend buying this to anyone.
