Prevue Pet Products Wrought Iron Select Birdcage, Coco Brown, 18"x18"x57"

This is the sturdiest cage that I know of for cockatiels if you are in the market for a stand alone cage. I have purchased many of this cage in the old design. This is my first purchase with the new door lock, which I like because there will not be any springs to break. I do miss the old clips used for securing the grill that separates the bird from their droppings though. This cage is big enough for two cockatiels if you add another perch, however the two must get along and know how to share food and water. Of course, you can also add dishes, but I really value just opening the door to get the food and water out without disturbing the bird. It is quiet and requires very little effort. I install the side walls upside down because I don't want a metal guard keeping the food dish in. This feature is only necessary for bigger birds who take their dishes out of the ring and dump them. That being said, if you do have a larger bird than a cockatiel, this is the only cage I know of that has this essential feature. I don't know if a cockatoo or parrot would be able to chew through these bars. I did have trouble getting the casters on. The old design was much easier.

Love the size and stability. The white pewter looks like a beautiful powder blue. I had a very large cage for my GCC, but it was so big and heavy I couldn't move it around or get it outside to clean. This is heavy enough to be stable but can easily be rolled around. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The cage was fairly easy to assemble with easy to read instructions! What an easy cage to clean! My 8 year old can do it all herself with minimum help. We use it for our Parakeet and she has a lot of room to play and jump around. Would definitely buy again!

The cage came in good shape .

My 30 year old blue fronted amazon had the same cage for 20 years and transitioned to this cage very quickly. It is super easy to clean with warm water and a rag. I have a few complaints. I wished it came with another perch and I wished the perch actually fit the cage. It would be nice to choose from wheels or end caps. I wish the legs were longer. I have 4 small dogs and I had to purchase a small table to put the cage on. When the cage arrived the seed tray was damaged so I called the 1-800 number and they shipped me a new one. Over all I am very pleased with the color, the ease of cleaning and the beautiful color that matches my decor of the house.
