I have used this product for years. I learned the hard way how expensive it can be to neglect your dog's teeth. I have brushed my dogs' teeth with this product and avoided expensive procedures. If you start when they are puppies, you can avoid expensive vet cleanings and extractions, too. This is a product made in the USA, which is something I look for.

Our Labradoodle had plaque and tartar on her canines and molars....the vet wanted me to let them do a dental cleaning under sedation. Casey is almost 9 years old and I just couldn't put her through that kind of stress (sedation# unless it was an emergency. I saw this kit at my local WM #Bentonville) and pounced on it...why not give it a try? She didn't like me doing it, but she loved the attention and the taste when my husband started brushing her teeth. In just two weeks of brushing, she already sits and waits for her brushing...and her teeth look 90% better already and so do her gums. People may think we are nuts but dental health can prolong the life of your pet. Can't wait for the vet to see her gleaming fangs! Wish I could purchase it again at store level, but it looks like it has been discontinued. I will find it though. Only toothpaste she likes!!

My Jack Russell is 14 years old, and his breath was humming. I looked at one of his teeth in the back, and it didn't look right. I purchased this kit and started brushing his teeth. The first time the bad looking tooth bled pretty bad, and his breath got better. After brushing his teeth for 3 days in a row, twice a day, the bleeding has been less, and his breath is not bad at all. This product works very well, and will be brushing his teeth regularly, he doesn't really like his teeth brushed, but it has to be done,. I would recommend all pet owners to get this product, and brush their pets teeth on a regular basis.

My dog loves this toothpaste. He likes to taste it off my finger before I start brushing his teeth.

I followed instructions. I gave my dog a taste of the toothpaste and it was fine. As soon as I tied to brush, he refused to open mouth and it was like dealing with a crazy dog. He was not having it. I tried both the smaller end of tooth brush and finger brush. Felt like I wasted my money. I refuse to put my bed to sleep at the vets for procedure. Soooo. I think if you are able to brush his/her teeth than awesome. I guess I'll buy him the dental sticks and hope for best.
