Project Mc2 is a team of super-smart and seriously cool girls who use their love of science and their spy skills as they go on missions for the secret organization, NOV8™ (that's “innovate!""). They're real girls with real skills ready to take on anything. Watch new episodes of the Project Mc2™ original series, only on Netflix! Conduct your own experiments at home or on the go, just like the girls from Project Mc2. Make sweet treats you can wear and eat with Project Mc2’s Gummy Jewelry Science Kit. About the experiment: Mixing gelatin into water creates an edible jelly. Gelatin is a protein that looks like millions of spaghetti strings under the best microscope on Earth, but when you heat it up, they start to untangle and dissolve. Once you cool it, the gelatin tangles up again and holds the liquid together. You can then brush on your favorite edible glitters and dusts to design your perfect gummy-look. It’s a wearable, snack-able piece of jelly-jewelry! Try experimenting with different amounts of gelatin and assorted flavors to create your own unique style again and again!

Great purchase for 8+ year old child. My daughter received it as a gift for her 6th birthday but she wasn't able to make the jello by herself since she is too young to use the stove.i wish they should specify this and also include some jello and gelatin to start using this kit.

Honestly, this product was pretty disappointing. There's one syringe and the "gel" comes out like water, so it's very frustrating for little ones to fill up the molds. In addition, included is only one item for making rings, but a couple of molds for rings; therefore, you would have to fill up on mold, refrigerate it, then fill the other mold up. Personally, as soon as we tried to fill the molds, I was over the entire project and both of my grands had given up long before. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is a nice kit. A fun way to combine science and girly girl things. My daughter like it and actually uses all of the products and each time has a blast making them. She could follow the instructions and make all of these on her own. The only con we found was that the gelatin is not included so my daughter had to wait until I was able to get all the ingredients to play with it but overall it's a great fun set that allows your kids to make tasteful wearable jewelry. I this product for my 8 year old daughter. She was very excited about it when she first got it. We opened up the package and realized we need to have gelatin. This was a huge disappointment for my daughter because we didn't have all the items to make the jewelry right then. When we got all the ingredients, it was very messy. She lost interest within 10 minutes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Ok, bad news first...My daughter and I made a huge mess with this and it took me at least an hour to clean everything up. The good news is that the fun we had was totally worth the clean up. My daughter, age 6, was able to do everything by herself. I was just there for the fun and glitter. And did I mention that the jewelry was all edible?!? She has already eaten everything she made so I'm not stepping on beads and secretly throwing away broken "treasures". This is fun and you should buy one!
