This was an awesome flavour profile, as a kid I would love these as a snack.
I see that the ingredients changed to "please the customers" by making less ingredients. I'm not sure who all actually requested that change. These were marketed and sold one way for years and then out of no where it changes. I got them a while back and noticed something was off. I went a long time without getting them again. I decided to try them again today and I figured it out. The entire topping of peanut butter THE ENTIRE REASON THESE WERE SO GOOD has been removed. These are just no longer any good. I won't be purchasing in the future. I don't know why you have to change things are well made. What happened to "if it isn't broke, don't fix it"? I mean, why not just make a healthy alternative with less ingredients and the nasty flavor and keep these as is. And if you have to get rid of one, see which one sells more and remove the other. This was an unfair waste of my money. There was nothing there saying the flavor had been changed. If you make that kind of change and completely ruin a food, it should say that on the box so that I know ahead of time and calculate if I am still willing to purchase it. Taste isn't just awful, but in comparison, it isn't anywhere near as good.
Normally, I purchase these bars, no problem. My family loves them. But the last 2 boxes I purchased had unsealed bars in the boxes. All totaled to the amount of half a box or 10 bars. Not cool. I will have to consider a long time before I purchased them again.
Ok, so I have been buying your product for years now. All of a sudden they are not as tasty as they once were. Then I found a bar that I had saved and put away. Then I see the difference. The color of the package, now there's "no artificial flavors" and "no high fructose corn syrup". This has altered the taste for this once delicious snack. I'm very sad that someone has changed the recipe. There was once a lot of peanut butter on them, now it's just a taste... it breaks my heart that since things are changing this has changed too. I guess I will have to find something else that will take place of this once delicious chewy Dipps peanut butter Quaker bar. The calories went down by 10 And what's the amount for Fat Cal? It was 60 Now it's just Total Fat 6g Sat fat 4g Total carb 20g from 19g The recipe is not that different all the same. So I'm not sure what happened to this anyhow. So this is my review.
It appears I am not the only person who is very disappointed in the current flavor of these bars. I used to love them until it appears there has been a change in the amount of peanut butter flavor and texture. Plus I think the bars contain more calories now. If I'm not mistaken they used to contain 100 calories per bar. So in my opinion they not only contain more calories the taste is not as good either. This will be my last box. Hopefully you will reconsider making them as they used to be. I don't understand why Quaker would want to change a good thing.
