Quaker State Defy High Mileage 5W30 Motor Oil, 1 qt

I usually run pennzoil high mileage in my 16 year old truck that has over 160k miles, but I wanted to give quaker state a try since they're also under the SOPUS umbrella and a little cheaper. I currently have about 500 miles on this oil change and I honestly can't tell the difference as my truck still runs just as smooth.

I have a 1998 chevy PU. Changed oil to Defy 5w30 4 months ago still on the full mark. I purchased it in 2004 have always had to add oil before change. There is no oil on the market to compete with DEFY. Also no old engine oil smell. So muchof a great oil.

I like QS HM Synthetic Blend formally knows as QS Defy however I question the products advertising as "boosted zinc levels" or "Zinc is king" since it is an SN rated oil. SN governs zinc levels to be no more than 800 ppm. I wonder is QS technical support would respond with some information about this?

Ive used Quaker State in our 2004 NissanXterra from the day we purchased it. At 278,892 miles its just now showing a loss of compression (less then 4 psi average) last oil change i switched to Quaker State high milage for added protection. Its more then brand loyalty... It's the brand being loyal to me!

I use quaker state on my cars. The cars have always performed exceeding well and brand exceeds my expectations. I currently have a 2003 Toyota that has over 384,000 on it and quaker state is the only oil that it has seen since in 2004. As long as you consistently use the same brand and avoid switching brands, you will do well. Quaker State is the best of them all to use and stick with.
