Each sign holder comes in a 3 piece set; the acrylic card holder, the stem & the magnetic base. Simply screw the 3/8" threaded stem into the magnetic base then screw the metal frame onto the stem. It includes the 6" H stem & will hold 5" H x 7" W cards. The assembled height of the 13"H sign holder is 14.5" H but will only stick up 13" H when placed on the rack.
