[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like a crisp crust occasionally but didn't particularly like this pizza. The ingredients weren't very fresh tasting, & it just tasted like a frozen cardboard pizza lacking any real flavor or substance. The sauce is too tomato-y, not having enough spices, or zest to it. I wouldnt buy this pizza in the future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I really liked the Red Baron thin & crispy pizza. If you like thin crust pizzas, this is a great choice for a frozen pizza. A nice crispy crust and delicious toppings & tasty sauce. It's super easy to throw in the oven, especially on a night where you really don't feel like cooking! We're really enjoying all of the pizzas we tried from Red Baron and are definitely going to check out other flavors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pizza was flavorful and had great consistency, as to the dough. I followed the instructions on the box and made the pizza nice and crispy, but having the inside a bit soft. The mixture of the different types of cheese was well balanced. I was able to taste the provolone, mozzarella, parmesan and asiago in it. It bakes so quick that is the perfect meal, when there is nothing planned to cook. I shared it with my mother and she liked it too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 3 Red Baron pizzas at the local grocery store instead of hitting up our local pizza place, trying to save on our budget. My family was disappointed when I walked in with frozen pizza and not boxes from the local joint. Once I cooked the pizza, though, they were all pleasantly surprised. As was I! The pizzas have a nice crispy crust without being too crunchy and hard. The sauce goes all the way to the edge and it's just the right amount. The flavor of the sauce is not too rich, just right. The toppings (we got pepperoni and cheese) were edge to edge and piled on, just like I like them. The flavor is great, just as good or maybe better, than our local joint, just because of the crust! Cooking is easy, no prep necessary but cooking times depend on your oven. Really enjoyed this style of pizza and will purchase again, a great time saver without sacrificing flavor and without busting the bank! Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Red Baron pizzas offer a lot of variety...thin and crispy, deep dish, regular crusts and a lot of options for toppings. You can have just cheese for those finicky eaters and some with multiple meats like pepperoni, ham and sausage. They are very easy to prepare. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and they provide an option to just place on center rack in the oven or use a pan. I used a pan lined with parchment paper Baking is longer than some others with recommended between 20 - 23 minutes. It took about 25 minutes for me for the darkness of the cheese and toppings that I prefer. Let it cool down, is retains the heat in the sauce under the cheese. Molten lava to your mouth if you dig in too soon. My one drawback for the pizza was no cardboard cutout for me to take the pizza off my pan and cut. Yes, you could use a cutting board, but I enjoy having the cardboard included with pizza, as you have everything together...the meal and a "serving dish". The flavor of the toppings and sauce were very delicious. Smooth, not too sweet, not to tart, and the flavors of the multiple meats that I picked were wonderful. The crust is a decent thickness: not too thick like a pan or deep dish and not so thin you wonder how the toppings are staying on the pizza. The pizza was a wonderful flavor and one that I would gladly get again. Prices were very decent too. I was able to try this pizza through TryIt Sampling, and I am glad that I did. I hadn't had a Red Baron Pizza in a decade, if not longer. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza, the amount of toppings and the flavor.
