Safety 1st Precious Angel Baby Mattress

I am due with my second child in a few months and have done a ton of research and price comparison on mattresses and decided on the Safety 1st Precious Angel Baby Mattress because based on reviews I was expecting to get even more then my money worth. I did see in several previous reviews that the product arrived dirty and even damaged, but I thought I would take my chances on it and hope for the best! Well the mattress arrived this morning and unfortunately I am another customer with a filthy mattress :-( Thankfully the cover does zip off and Tide does miracles....I spot treated the dirty spots, ran it thru one cycle with cold water, and it came out perfectly clean! I was honestly worried that even Tide wouldn't be able to help with this based on how dark and deep the dirt looked, it looked like it was dragged thru dirt as dark as oil. Some people in my position may have decided to return the mattress but I wanted to give washing it a chance just because the product itself has such great reviews and I think my child will love sleeping on this mattress. I did call Walmart.com customer service and explained everything and asked what they do for customers in my position, the representative was very friendly and stated since it arrived dirty they would issue me a 20% credit. So all in all I had to do a little extra laundry today and spend some time on the phone (about 10 minutes) but the mattress looks perfectly new and has a fresh Tide smell, I will get a credit for my inconvenience, and the mattress looks and feels SO comfy but still firm like babies need it to be :-) I would recommend this mattress to others but will add, just be prepared to wash it before using it and take the time to call Walmart.com to let them know and to get the credit you deserve. Bought this for my baby on the way, haven't used it as yet but i would say its a great value. Its firm but not too firm and not too soft. Just perfect. Fits a bit snug in my graco stanton crib..

This mattress is the quality of one that should have cost $200 or more. It is very sturdy, well-made, and fits the crib perfect. It does not look or feel cheap. Very satisfied!!

Love this matress......I give it a 5 star rating. This matress is soft, yet firm. It's nothing like those coil spring ones. I really love the soft bamboo waterproof cover it comes with :)

nice cover. Great firmness... my husband and I lie on this bed and this is pretty firm, but not too much. We liked it. I hope my boy will like it, too. Good price as well.
