These were inexpensive and easy to apply. The trickiest part is remembering that the strips are delicate, and therefore you have to remember to remove the clear plastic layer after applying the polish strip to your nail. Typically I would apply the polish strip over a base coat and put a top coat over it. This is purely optional as I have applied these without a base & top coat - the manicure just didn't last as long. I especially liked this pattern because I'm partial to houndstooth, and it looked like I paid for expensive nail art.

I was skeptical and intimidated by these the first time I had them that they just sat in my basket of various nail products for a while. Once I used them I kicked myself for not trying them sooner. They are very easy to apply. It's quicker than painting, you get fun or elegant designs if you wish, they are instantly dry, fast to apply, a heck of a lot cheaper than a salon, you are using your own nails, so there isn't that fake nail/can't function easy without a learning curve, and they last about a week. There is a surprising acetone smell when you open up the pack. But that goes away quickly. Worth a try, especially on a rainy or snowy day where you don't want to go out. Get some and pamper yourself ladies, you can do it and you deserve it :)
