Samsung - 4.5 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Top Load Washer with Vibration Reduction Technology+ - White

I've had this washer for about 4 years. It is the biggest piece of junk that I have ever dealt with. From day one, I have constantly had issues with the load out of balance so it errors out. The worst part is when you get this error, the cycle starts all over again, creating more water and electricity usage! I can't even wash my towels or bedding without the machine not being able to balance out enough to spin. And, even though I am not washing heavy items, I still use the Heavy Duty or Bedding/Waterproof cycle and get the same result. Every single time, I have to rearrange the load and hold the washer in place or sit on it, just so it doesn't go off balance again - and sometimes THAT doesn't even work! Just today, I tried to wash one large towel and a super light blanket and it errored out 3 times, leaving me no choice but to pull the towels out literally soaking wet and put them in the dryer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer is extremely quiet and washes much better than the original washer that we had. Additionally, there are no unbalanced issues like we had with the other washer. The knobs and dials are all perfect, unlike the new washer of another brand that we purchased and returned. The dryer is also perfect with zero problems. Both the washer and dryer are perfect with zero complaints.

My front load was mostly a nightmare with the only benefit being you could place a countertop on them. The ease of this top load far outweighs that benefit. It can be a bit loud but it's fine, no agitator means my comforters fit nicely

I have this washer 5 days and when it starts to wash it just continues to make a grinding noise. Such loud grinding noise. And it continues. I asked home depot where i bought it. And two of the ladies that work there said this was so for them to. They had this washer. Loud noise and they just said they close the door so they do not hear the noise. I feel it should not make this sound at all. So far keeping an eye on this washer. Please let me know if it is suppose to make the awful noise. Of my past 2 washer I own, Never made a sound.

Unfortunately, the washer I had for 15+ years stopped working two years ago and it was time for a new one. I purchased this one from Home Depot and if I could go back in time, I would not purchase this washer. I've only had it for 2 years now and a technician is coming for a third time to repair it. When this machine works, it's great. However, once a year it conks out - it won't spin and complete a cycle, leaving me with soaking wet clothes. The water will take 30 minutes to fill up before washing and it often “goes off balance”. All things I never experienced with my prior washer. This machine has been a complete headache and I DO NOT recommend this machine. I'm already looking for a new machine because my warranty ends next year and I'm sure I will continue to have problems even after that with this machine. Not worth the headache. Purchase any other brand!!
