Sauder Shoal Creek Nightstand, Oiled Oak Finish

This is just particle board and veneer. It arrived with the surface scuffed, and some pieces don't fit together 100% correctly to the point that you can tell at some joints that it's particle board. Disappointed I paid $70+ for this when it really has the quality of a $40 piece of furniture.

I needed a small bedside Table & didnt want to spend a lot. Took a little while to put together but otherwise there were no issues doing that. It looks very nice on our guest bedrm.

We purchased 2 of these , along with the dresser, for use in our guest bedroom. My SO felt that we needed to have a finished guest bedroom, and I didn't want to spend $3000 for furniture nobody was ever going to use. They go together easily and seem sturdy. Just follow the directions and take your time when putting them together. I found it easier to remove all of the pieces from the box prior to assembly. The pieces look good in the room. The drawers seem like they would hold up well. The only complaint I have is with the assembly stickers that are attached to every piece of furniture. Most of them came off easily, but the ones on the front of the drawers would not come off in one piece and left a sticky residue, which needed to be cleaned with Goo B Gone.

I liked the nightstand a lot. It was bought for our guest room, didn't want to spend a lot of money, and the color blended with the wood on the bed. The assembly was easy, I didn't have to ask my hubby for any help!!! E.A.

Very happy with the nightstand. Looks very nice and functions well. Pretty easy to put together, just make sure you're following the directions carefully. Gives you the option to use the bottom as a shelf or insert a basket/container. As with most inexpensive furniture corners are not tapered - be careful, they are very sharp - slashed my knees a couple of times.
