Sc Johnson Drano 64-ounce Max Commercial Line Drain Build-up Remover (4 Pack)

Used as directed, I used a whole bottle, half of it for my tub and other for my sink because they were mildly clogged. The water would go down the drain slowly. This Drano worked very well, all I had to do was pour slowly, wait for 30 mins and rinse with hot water. It does have a chemically smell that last about 1-2 hrs but would recommend.

I feel like sometimes drano works and sometimes it just doesn't depending on the clog. I've found that bathroom sinks are a lot easier to just take apart and clean with a simple rinse or snake of the bottom piece of the drain. However I have had drano success in shower drains.

After reading the description I realized it was more for the maintenance of your drains/pipes to help remove buildup to keep your drains running smoothly. We have an ongoing issue with a slow running sink in our bathroom, so I thought I would try it there. After using the product the sink did seem to run a little faster. We have a friend who is a plumber and he recommended this product to use monthly to keep the drain running smoothly. He said it was a very good product for that use. The directions were easy to follow. The product had a somewhat pleasant smell. I like the fact that it contains natural enzymes and bacteria, and no phosphorous, and will not harm your pipes. I will continue to use this product monthly to see if it helps with our ongoing issue with our bathroom drain and to help prevent future clogs.

Following the instructions listed on the back of the container, I poured it into the clogged sink and in an instant the clog was flushed away! It works like magic! I only used it once, but probably need to do it again, but couldn't find how many times you can do it during a specific time period, so I will wait a week. After one time, there still seems to be a build up. I am hoping it will be better once I use it a second time.
