Schick Hydro 3 Men's Razor Blade Refills, 4 Ct + 1 Hydro 5 Refill

Excellent product. Very smooth and easy to use.

When I found these a few years ago they were great. I couldn't believe a disposable was so good. Recently, when I shave, it feels like my face is being raked. The gel strip is not good anymore and the razor blades don't shave me as close. I'm so disappointed. And, the price has gone up significantly. I wish I could have some of the old product. Why did it have to change?

Look - comments are going to run the gamut of superb to less than ideal - mainly due to the types of bears we have. You'll never get 100% agreement in this arena. However, I must say that I have a heavy (very coarse bear) and just recently, I started shaving my head completely. And since I shave in the shower, I tend to focus on getting disposal razors. Since I shaved my head, I started trying virtually all of the different brands of blades out there - Gillette, Dorco, Bull Dog, Harry's Blades, 1-800 razors, and then Shick. Most of the aforementioned blades shaved fairly smooth (with the exception of the Dorcos). But it was only when I got the Shick disposables (the 5-blade Hydro variety) that I was pleasantly taken aback at how smooth they shaved. And being in the shower, I got at least 10-15 shaves from each disposable before discarding it for a new one - they are that good. So yes, I can highly recommend the 5 blade Hydro's. If you're looking for a superb shaver that won't nick your head (remember, I shave my head), then this is the baby to get. Hands down the best! We were on vacation and I forgot my razor ultimately having to purchase a disposable. My husband said it's for men and of course I could see that. Where we were the little store didn't offer much as far as variety went but I'm so glad they offered these. Now back home I only purchase these. This disposable razor beats any refill kind that I've found including for women.

I recently bought the Hydro as a change from my Gillette. I was very disappointed as I did not get a clean shave, it needed numerous times to get a smooth shave, also blades do not last long. My Gillette lasts 4 times longer so the good price actually costs more in the long run. Do you have a product that gives a good shave?
