It works great for projects around the house like wiring up a ceiling fan or when you want a little extra protection when replacing a lamp cord or for wiring up tow lights on a trailer. The tape is extremely sticky and holds well once it is in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch 700 electrical tape works and stays in place even in the below freezing temperatures. I used Scotch tape to cover the wires for my snow blower in place after I noticed that they'd become frayed due to freezing and cracking during a very heavy snow storm. Scotch tape stuck and stayed and I was able to finish my contracts. The tape is sticky and stretchy which allowed me to complete and confidently wrap the wiring and so far - after another storm - I haven't had to replace the tape or the wiring! I can't wait to use the tape in the spring and summer months for the irrigation valves I'm sure I'll be having to replace after the damage of this winter.
