Sei Primary Tie Dye Kit, Craft and Fabric Spray, 3 Colors

i LOVE the fact that the dye does not fade over time... like you can shelf the spray and use it later (unlike tulip dyes) i give it a four star because i thought the spray bottles would be easier to use, but they get clogged way to often and are way too frustrating for my kids to use, so I'm still left foing everything

I finally got to try my tie dye kit, I had surgery so was unable to try it when I got it. I have to say I really enjoyed making my shirt and this would be a great birthday party activity/favor for kids. I did the swirl effect and after placing rubber bands I had 8 pie slices to color. I dampened the shirt to get the bleeding effect. The colors I got were great, pretty vibrant. The colors in my kit are red, blue and yellow. I hung the shirt overnight to dry and opted to try the dryer for heat sealing vs blow drying it . I dried it for 30 minutes to ensure the seal. Clean up was a breeze I used a training pad to cover my counter surface and gloves on my hands that's it. The ONLY reason I'm giving this a 4 is because I haven't worn the shirt yet so I can't say how well the color holds up after being worn, washed and dried again but so far I love what I see. I have 2 grandkids with a third on the way and I am looking forward to making them all a tie dye shirt and maybe a onesie.

My kids have been begging to do this tie dye, so we finally did it on their spring break. I loved how simple the set up was. I would have loved if this package included rubber bands and plastic gloves. Spraying was very easy for my 5 and 7 Year olds. My 3 year old needed help. The spray bottles did leak from the top, but it was easy to spray the colors on top of each other to get new colors (i.e. purple and green). We did the dry method, which says it will cover 2-3 shirts. Our projects ended up with barely any color on them (and all of the dye was used). I would only recommend this product if you're using the wet method. Overall, if you've never give tie dye and are looking for a fool proof intro, this is a great option.

Wow I was surprised how easy this Tie Dying was using this kit with multicolors. I tried it out first using my iron to seal the colors before attempting having a fun project to make with my grandkids. I remember when Tie first came into the fade scene where you tie your shirt up with rubber bands then put the colors in it by dipping the shirt in the many colors then rinsing in vinegar to seal the colors then of course you dried them either in a drier if you had one or hung them out on the clothes line to dry. The colors always faded with each wash. This kit has nice bright colors that you apply and then as I said you can use your iron or your drier to set the colors. I have washed mine several times and the colors have not faded which is a plus in my book. I think this would be a fun project for a scout group to have each child make and design their own T-shirt. Or in this day of Covid-19 you can do a science project making T-shirts with your children or making as gifts for your grandchildren for Easter. Either way this is a fun and easy project to do. SO have a fun day tie dying shirts!

We LOVED this tie dye! It was so much easier to use than the traditional tie dyes, and the shirts we dyed were laundered and ready to be warn just a few hours after dying them! We tie dyed outside, then let the shirts sit out in the sun, which dried them fully in about 2 hours, and then we just threw them in the dryer (on high) to heat set for 20 mins, and then finally washed and dried them as normal. MUCH quicker turn around than traditional tie dyes. And our shirts came out great!
