It connects to Bluetooth, so its great at the gym in the racquetball courts or even in the kitchen when you are doing dishes. My pre-teen takes it in the bathroom for showers. This speaker holds a pretty good charge, but also has a charging cord and since its so small, it's easy to tag along if need be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bluetooth speaker especially for its size. Some smaller speakers dont have great sound but not this one. It is compact but it sounds as good as one of my full size speakers that I have. It can also get loud. My fiance likes to have it in the bathroom while he showers and I can hear the music throughout the house. The bass isn't super boomy like I like but i wasnt expecting a big bass boom from a small speaker. There's also a place to insert a SD card. My biggest complaint though is the charging cord. It's micro USB. So that is another cord I have to keep up with but it's a minor problem. The battery life is phenomenal. I charged the speaker when I first got it and I haven't had to charge it since then. We use the speaker about an hour or so a day when cleaning or showering. Overall I am super pleased with the speaker. Small speaker, big sound. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a small, portable speaker

I also like to use it on the deck while enjoying my morning coffee, because I can use my phone to play the music, but still be on my phone to check emails and social media. It's easy to set up on your phone by just pairing it. There are easy to follow instructions for that and controlling the device included. I listened to my streaming music everyday. It's good for just a small area and the sound is good, but not as great as the larger speakers. The great thing about this speaker is that you can answer phone calls even while it's playing your music. The speaker will pause the song and you will hear a ringing when someone is calling. Just press the button to answer. You can talk on it, but the other person says it sounds like you are far away, but it's still a nice feature. The speaker is rechargeable and has a hanging strap to make it more convenient in small spaces. There are volume keys on the device to adjust volume. It's a nice speaker for traveling also. You can have the speaker in another room, like a nursery, and be a few rooms away and it will still play. I'm thinking nursery songs to put the baby to sleep. Although I exclusively used my phone, this speaker will take an SD card and a USB flash drive up to 32G. It is small, so can fit easily in bags while traveling. It's also made by a well known brand, so you can be assured of its durability. Pros: easy to set up, can answer phone on the speaker, compact and durable Cons: Phone calls make you seem like your far away from speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] needed a new speaker and am pretty happy with this one. so far the connection has been good and the sound quality is pretty good. have used it from about 2 rooms away from my computer to listen to music and have taken it outside when I can get out on a nice day to listen and still get decent sound
