This was my go-to foundation after they discontinued a similar Laura Mercier several years ago. I have not been able to find another one in the Laura Mercier line that even compares. Very disappointed that they discontinued yet another good product. Sadly, I will unfortunately need to move to another brand. Maybe you should take into consideration that not all are in their 20's and need coverage not just a tinted moisturizer.

I am a 67 year old woman who has acne scars and dark spots, but you would never guess that when I am wearing this foundation. It only takes a pea sized drop to conceal all blemishes and fade dark spots. This foundation gives you the natural look of someone born with beautiful skin.

I don't like buying foundation online without having tried it first... but I'm glad I'm did!!! This foundation is a favorite of mine..I use Fenty concealer and together my base looks flawless.... there's no heavy fragrance..I have a pretty normal skin type..I can be dry sometimes... it layers well too

When I pay this much for a product, I expect good results. This does not have as good coverage as it claims and it's "moisturizing" component makes you look oily (have to use TWO blotting papers 30 mins after applying or will look like a grease ball- and I have really dry skin). I will stick to Estee Lauder double wear.

I was a loyal Laura Mercier customer for well over 10 years, religiously using the original "Silk Creme Foundation" in Bamboo Beige (the most perfect color I've ever found) Secret Camouflague, their powders, lipsticks, eye shadows etc. I'm now boycotting their counter, as I feel if they can't be loyal to their customers why should we feel loyal to them. I was told this new formula was exactly the same, as other reviewers have stated IT IS NOT THE SAME, it goes on patchy, doesn't cover ANY blemishes, starts to slide off after two hours, blotting and powdering does nothing to stop this, it is as bad as a pound shop foundation, but far more expensive, oh and also way less product than the original, feeling cheated anyone?? My wedding make up was a mess because I had to find another brand. After attending friends weddings over the years and always loving the make up I was wearing and getting complimented on it, its so disappointing that on my own wedding day I couldn't wear a foundation I loved that made my skin look flawless, because you took it off the market. Instead I felt self conscious and unconfident, not how a bride wants to feel on her wedding day. So thanks Laura Mercier for ruining my wedding photos, for making me feel self conscious, for having to over hear two guests saying "what happened her make up"? So disappointed with Laura Mercier, when so many of your loyal customers are pleading with you to bring the original Silk Creme back, but when you just don't seem to care, what does that say about you as a company. It's not only online that customers are complaining of this, everytime I'm at my local beauty counters people are talking about it. Laura Mercier LISTEN to your customers, we have put you where you are so have some respect for us and return a much loved product to the market. As a professional Make Up Artist I can't understand why you took this foundation off the market. If you choose not to publish this comment, at least reply to me privately!
