Ivory Aloe Gentle Bar Soap with Aloe, 3 Count

I've been using this soap for decades and I'm not happy with this product anymore. I used to buy ivory laundry detergent 40 years ago to wash my baby diapers and baby clothes. It was a trusted brand. Not any more. It's just another cheap brand of soap. It no longer floats and is not the same formula. I'll be looking for another brand of pure soap as this product irritates my skin. I thought it was the aloe scent one that I bought by mistake, but the original does the same thing. It appears by the reviews, that I am not the only customer who is disappointed with the new formula.

This was the only kind of soap I used for over 70 years. Why did you change a good thing. If you found a new market, why not keep the old product, and then create a new one.

Picked these up for their quality but most of all price, they are quality products at a fair price which is what we all need in the modern economy, where prices go up and wages go down. Larger, creamy and fragrant these are wonderful soaps, I'm so very pleased I picked up two packs, love the aloe scent. These are perfect when I go out for a light jog and exercise, to come home and have a shower, I feel clean, you can feel its it's softness, it smells lovely. Thank you P&G for this soap line and making quality products as at lesser cost, it's social kindness and awareness.

Have used this product since I was a kid. Recently depleted my large stash from a number of years ago. Sorry that I bought a 10 pack. I opened the first one and couldn't stand the smell. Thought maybe it was due to being shipped with other strongly fragranced personal care products. Nope! Washed hands with it a few times and scent lingered on skin and in towel just like other fake fragrance soaps. What happened to the light Ivory scent? The "fragrance" ingredient seems like its just a mix of chemicals (apparently plant based) that makes it smell more like cheap perfume. Also, the bar developed sandy-type bumps which never went away when husband used it a few times--just like those that are shown in posted photos. that bar got tossed into the trash. Sadly, will never purchase again & have purchased a brand of unscented soap instead. The other 9 bars were given away to charity--which I could have gotten a refund. New is NOT better!

If it ain't broke,...don't go and break it by changing the formula and adding fragrance The new formula is so bad I returned it, and I almost never do that. Ps. Thanks for the new rash
