Kenny Rogers is Brewster Baker, a down on his luck stock car racer who has been off the circuit for two years. Just as he's about to make his comeback, he runs into a gang of orphans who, under pressure from a crooked sheriff, are applying their incredible mechanical skills towards a life of crime. Brewster reluctantly hires this expert family on as his long-standing rival. A confirmed loner, Brewster tries as hard as he can not to get attached to his new crew, but this Six Pack is so full of mischief and wisecracks, they're simply irresistible.
