These mats are so perfect for eating out. I start using them around 9 months of age for my babies while we’re out at a restaurant. I can put their little niblets of food on there to promote self-feeding and not worry about the cleanliness of the table. I also use this for older kids to help contain food messes and offer extra grip to their plates and cups to help them be more successful eaters.

I love everything about the zoo collection. The designs are super cute and are fun for all kids. This product is no exception. I bought the owl mat for my daughter because she is eating her food off the tables and doesn’t particularly like bowls yet. Germs! And I didn’t want to buy disposable place mats and feel bad about throwing them away. Insert this reusable placemat. I will say the only downside is that it is easy for her to pick up and play with. I wish it had a little something more in terms of child proofing. But I still love it!

I bought this mat on sale; but really like using it. It rolls and fits easily in the diaper bag without taking too much space. And it's a good handy thing to have especially at restaurants where my 2 year old will eat off the table; I am worry free knowing hes not eating chemicals from cleaning materials off the table as well.

I used to carry around the ezpz brand silicone plate. It was so clunky and not very easy to clean with all the separate compartments. I saw my friends use this placemat and realized how simple and convenient it was. Right away I bought one and use it when we go out.

I got the first Fold & Go placemat a year ago for my son who was 2 years old at the time. And let me tell you, this thing is AMAZING! My toddler uses it everyday 1-3 times a day and it’s been through the biggest of messes (either from food or crafts) and it still looks like new. We’ve loved this so much that I had to come back and buy a second one for my 1 year old, and he couldn’t be happier with his new zoo pal. The designs are so cute, and their durability has exceeded my expectations. Skip hop never disappoints!
