Somerdale Red Stripe Duvet Set

I read the reviews before I bought this duvet cover and knew it wasn't going to be as dark as the picture makes it seem but when I got it I was really disappointed. It's almost a cherry red- there's a lot of pink to it and it also has lime green stripes going down it which I couldn't see from the picture. It doesn't match my decor at all and I will be returning it. Quality looks ok- just know that the picture does not represent the product you will receive.

I was going crazy trying to find the perfect duvet cover to go with my sage green curtains in my bedroom. I saw this one and thought the green stripe in it just might match. Well when I got it it matched perfectly and totally added to the overall look of my bedroom with it's vibrant red color. Visitors think it's Nautica! I am definately satisfied. For 44$ I made out like a bandit!!!!!

I purchased this for my bedroom as an extra duvet while my normal one is being cleaned. I like it. Its really cute. The only thing that I was kind of bummed about is that the red in the picture seems a bit deeper than it actually is. Its a little orange toned but its very cute. The button detail was a very nice addition. I reinforced them upon receiving it though because I was scared of loosing one!

Although the price was great, I was disappointed when I got the order. The color on the actual duvet is MUCH brighter than the picture - more of a cherry red. The fabric is also slightly stiff. Not a bad value for the price, but if you're looking to match this with something you already have, beware.

I love the rich red color!It also feels very smooth and soft, I think the button detail brings character to this duvet but it's a personal preference.I have it in my bedroom and the green stripes on the fabric are complemented by my light green curtains which is a plus!The only reason it does not get a perfect score is because i was expecting it to be a lot thicker, but it seems to be of good quality and makes your bed pop!Hopefully it makes it through being machine washed!
