This is our second Sony 900mhz Nursery Monitor and Dual Receiver. We are STILL using our first for our 5 year old son. This second system is for use with our newborn twins.

We bought these monitors right before our baby was born and just started to use them a couple months ago when we switched her to her room, needless to say they have caused me more anxiety then not having a monitor at all. It constantly screeches and if the reciever is near anything electric at all is gets an interference. It has 2 settings so you can hear when noise is made but even that setting has static all the time. We have a fairly small house and the out of range alarm is always going off even when I am in the next room. I would not waste my money on these again, when I tried to call the company to ask them about it they just transered me to returns and since I no longer have my recipt I cannot get my money back. I guess I just have a very fancy paper weight now.

I purchased this product after my sister recommended it, as she has the same one for her baby. The thing beeps non stop & I have changed the channels many times & moved the unit away from other electrical appliances as the instructions recommend, but the out of range beeping still won't quit. Our house is 2000 square feet & the babies' room is not that far away, but the thing still beeps. As a mom of twins, I don't get much sleep as it is & this non-stop beeping throughout the night wakes me up more than the babies! I will be returning the product for something else. ** Just a note, my sister said her monitor never beeps, so maybe it is a fluke, but I have read many other comments about people complaining about the beeping too.

I thought that because it was a "sony" it would be GREAT, but to my EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT, I found out otherwise. The box said 900 foot range- I walked to the back of my house and the range alarm kept going off. I placed it in the babies room and you could hear the air conditioner running, but the baby had been crying for a few minutes and it never picked up the crying noise. Sony needs to stick to computers and TV's.

I brought this product so that I could help with the nightly care of my newborn granddaughter, particularly so mom and dad could get some sleep. Knowing that I would be staying in the downstairs guest bedroom and the baby's room is upstairs, I wanted a monitor that would pick up the sneeze of a fly. This product surpassed my expectations. The reception was great and I could hear every little movement my precious granddaughter made. This is a top notch product!!!
