Sony - DVD Player - Black

I don't have wifi so my TV has been off for months. I finally decided to get a DVD player just to have a little background noise day to day, maybe enjoy a movie here and there. This is the same DVD player I bought years ago, but I lost it when I moved. I recently bought it again and it is still a wonderful DVD player! Would recommend to others

Honestly, I used to trust in SONY name. Now I see that is a big mistake. Why? I have bought this to watch DVD, and yet it does not play all other country DVDs. Only for America. It is ridiculous! I used to have DVD player back then and they all played any type of DVD, CD movies, even one of them played USB flash drive files. For $35 it is waste of money. If I knew in 30 days, I would have return it right away. SHAME ON SONY.

Just a grade above a tinker toy DVD player. Has better sound quality, but emits a constant humming, which even the tinker toy players didn't have. Sony, supposedly, is known for its great sound, so this shouldn't have a continuous hum. Personally, I do not believe quality DVD players are made any longer unless one is bought for $100.00 .

I can't use the audio/video connector cable that came with this unit because it is only 3 ft. long and I need about 3-1/2 ft. long to connect the unit within my armoire. So far, I can't find a compatible 6 ft. universal cable that will work. Sony should realize that not everyone has open and free access for connections, some are housed within stereo units and armoires. If they gave you 6 ft. and charged a wee bit more, it would be aceptable for the mass majority of users.

Get it home & not easy to set up, took two people all day to figure it out, still not right at the end. When it was right the color was terrible, had a green tint. No way to correct it with either the player settings or TV settings....Returned it right away
