St. Ives Daily Hydrating Vitamin E Body Lotion, 9 fl oz

I have been a loyal user of St. Ives Hydrating Vitamin E Moisturizer for years. I remember the day that I could not find it in the stores only to later discover that you had changed the container. Little did I know that you had, for some inexplicable reason, changed the formula as well. I have found that the new formula leaves my skin drier than it was before I used it. Now I find myself searching the Internet for bottles of the old formula rather than buy the new or any other product. I really don't want to change (I receive so many complements about my soft and clear skin) but you provide me with no other alternative. It seems that this may be goodbye!

I did not use the previous formula so I have no basis for comparison. All I know is that I think this stuff smells amazing. It goes on clear and it feels really good on my skin. I use it after shaving and it keeps my skin from getting irritated. I would recommend this to others. I will buy this lotion from now on.

I have used St. Ives Vitamin E lotion for so long I can't remember when I didn't use it. I swore by it. In fact, I've used it as facial moisturizer for years and now that I am middle aged, people have commented on how good my skin looks. I fear that will not last. The new formula is not good. It feels like wax, where the old formula felt creamy and soothing to my skin. I looked at the ingredients of the new formula compared to the old one and there is alcohol listed in the new formula near the top of the ingredients list. The old formula had no alcohol. Alcohol is drying not moisturizing. St. Ives used to be one of the only lotions that did not use alcohol. I am going to have to switch. I hope St. Ives solves this problem so I can come back soon.

I do not like the new formula. it is thicker and somehow, my hands feel dryer than before. also, the perfumey smell is weird and way too strong. the old aloe formula used to have a nice, light smell, and the perfect texture. bring it back!!

I have been using St Ives Vitamin E lotion for as long as I can remember. I am so disappointed that the formula has now been changed. It's either more greasy or less absorbent than it used to be and the smell gives me a headache. Is there any way to get a hold of the older formula???
