STAGG VEGETARIAN GARDEN 4-Bean Chili, Shelf Stable, 15 oz Steel Can

The flavor is good. Although the protein amount is only 8g, for the vegetarian people it works fantastic. Lots of vegetables (peppers, onions) and a decent amount of beans. The consistency is very thick, you will be satisfied with a portion. Not very hot, I think that was the best part, just enough heat. The sodium amount is 99mg per serving which is considered low per The American Heart Association. Overall the product is a good one for a day when you want food that fills you up without cooking.

This vegetarian chili is darn tootin' good! It's comparable to my husbands homemade chili (but sssh don't tell him that) Lots of flavor and I don't even miss the meat. It has a smooth texture, not gritty like some can be. I love the convenience of it. Makes for a quick and easy lunch or dinner. No longer need to crockpot chili for hours. I'd buy this product again!

While I did try this product, it had too much sodium to possibly be better than other similar products that contain meat. I was not very pleased at all. I did, however, cook some frozen vegetables to add to this product to reduce some of the sodium.

I've been a vegetarian for a long time and this was my first canned chili. I found it extremely good and fulfilling. The flavor is great and a little bit spicy. It contains four kind of beans, corn, peppers and tomatoes. It is great alone or with white rice. I'll buy it any time.

Ate my Hormel 4-Bean Vegetarian Garden Chili for lunch at work yesterday and the moment I opened the can it smelled amazing. The Chili was thick with different types of beans, chunks of tomato and pieces of corn. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and found it to be more flavorful and spicier than I originally expected. I ate my Hormel 4-Bean Vegetarian Garden Chili with crackers to offset some of the zing on my tongue while eating it, and I definitely plan to buy and eat it again in the near future.
