Staub - Cast Iron 13-inch Double Handle Fry Pan - Black Matte

The color is fabulous, but the raves stop there. I have waited years to purchase this pan so I got my scallops out, oiled the pan and they stuck to the bottom. I figured maybe I heated the pan too hot, but I just tried making pancakes this morning and they stuck to the pre greased pan as well. I followed all the instructions that came with the pan. Would love to know what I am doing wrong

I love how this pan comes with 2 handles that make it easy to maneuver. With other pan that have a long handle, I find that if I have a couple on the stove top at once, the handles tend to bump into each other and when you're cooking dinner, the chances are that you will have a couple of pots and pans on the stove at once. I love how wide this pan is and it is great to be able to sear 4 filet mignons at a time because of the surface area.

I love using this pan for those 1-pan meals - rice w/ chicken and veggies, potatoes w/ sausage and eggs for breakfast, au gratins in the evening w/ roasted brussel sprouts, the options are endless! Works for all 3 meals. Heats well and evenly and lasts forever. Easy to clean - just soak and food rinses right out.

This 13" Staub double handle skillet is deep and great for every cooking needs. I owned one, our family finds it better than any other pan. WOW, where have I been?? tThis pan is exactly what I've needed without knowing it. I love the large flat surface, great for frying or browning, the high sides make it so useful for sauteing or baking nd the open area makes it great for roasting or using as a plancha on the grill. This pan does it all and in the enameled cast iron, it is easy to care for, solid enough to use all the time and the handles, really make it an easy lift no matter the contents!
