Step2 Magic Fountain Cottage

Quality as pictured. According to Dad not too hard to put together. Big enough for both children. Came sooner than promised. At one point water pump would not turn off but seems ok now. Hope it stays that way, but I know from other reviews I read before purchasing that the pump has been a problem with this product.

My 4 yr old loved this house. We got it for her 4th bday a few weeks ago and it was easy to assemble, only about 2 hours, if that. It's big enough for me to squeeze in with her and we can play together :) The other houses were a bit smaller and shorter, so we bought this one to last her awhile, She loves the little sink and fireplace on the wall. Only thing I was surprised it didn't have a floor, but no big deal, and it was expensive to ship, they should offer site to store on this one too. She also really digs the magic fountain! fun for all!!

this play house is a very nice product with a lot of extra features that children love however it is difficult to assemble the slots are not the correct sizes and the fountain unit is particularly difficult to put together. The sink would not "sink" down and the lion cover did not fit correctly Maybe the manufacturer is using old molds to make this product resulting in bad fittings

After reading lots of reviews we bought this playhouse for our daughter's 4th birthday. She is very tall for her age and it was hard to find one that would fit her. It was relatively easy to put together (about 1.25 hours). As stated in other reviews, the fountain is very loud. If the batteries run out, it will be a pain to replace them. With shipping, we spent about $350.00 but we hope to use the house for years to come. It is very adorable and will allow her to be creative for a long time.

We've only had this product about one week, but so far it seems to be what we were expecting of the playhouse. We got this for our 20 month old daughter. It has beautiful decals inside that are a very nice touch. The playhouse is spacious and we had over a 5 year old who was playing in there with my daughter with plenty of room to spare. My only complaint would be that the designers must have not thought about the fact that young kids will throw things into the fountain. One of the first things my daughter did was take the phone that came with the playhosue and threw it in the fountain. The phone was equiped with two batteries and basically the electronic features are now ruined. My daughter still likes the phone, but this was something I'm surprised the designers didn't think of ahead of time. My husband put the playhouse together in about an hour. You really should have a cordless drill available (as well as screwdrivers) to make the assembly easier.
