Stride Rite Girls Big Kid Claire Mary Jane

I grew up with Stride Rite; bought Stride Rite for my daughter; and now I continue to purchase Stride Right for my granddaughter. She loves her new shoes. I bought two pairs of Mary Jane Shoes; one in the Navy color and the other in Black. She is very happy.

These are the perfect school shoes for my daughter. They are the only ones I can find that are wide enough that she can wear them without complaining. They usually last awhile too. They eventually get scuffs and things from playgrounds and play, but it’s not right away like other shoes. We buy these over and over! The only show I loved more was the Made to Play Mary Jane that came in black and blue...will you bring that back?

I have been purchasing Stride Rite shoes for over 12 years, for both my son and daughter. I have purchased over 10 pairs of Mary Janes for my 8 year old daughter and these are by far the best ones I have ever purchased! My daughter has narrow feet so we have had issues with the leather cracking because of them being too big. We have had these for over a month and they are holding up great.

I purchased these as school uniform shoes for my daughter. She has been wearing them for about 6 weeks, 4 days a week, and they look terrible. There are broken white threads sticking out all over the straps and seams, on areas that aren't exposed to wear at all. I wish I could post a picture to show how bad it looks. We have purchased Stride Rite uniform shoes for years, and these are are not up to standard. At this price point, I expect more than a few weeks of wear before a pair of shoes looks tattered. I would not repurchase or recommend.

I am very disappointed in these shoes ! The first day of school was on 8/28 and the shoes didn't last one day of wear. Large l scuff marks on toe area of shoes , material actually peeled away. I have always brought Stride rite shoes and could not believe the poor quality of these shoes.
