Summer 2.4ghz Digital Audio Monitor

This was given as a shower gift without the receipt. While it has served the general purpose, I have not been satisfied. It easily picks up interference, the rechargable battery is dead in about 30 minutes, and in my house, if I get more than 20 feet away, it is useless. I have been able to move it easily with the base to keep the battery from going dead. I also turn the volume up so that I can leave it where it gets good reception and still hear her. But the louder the monitor is turned, the more exterior noises I hear like the trains and highway that are 2 miles away. Not good. When I turn it up one notch from the quietest setting, there is a constant hum, but when it is on the quietest setting, I don't hear her at all! Also the noises she makes are distorted, as in, she cries very cute. On this Beast... NOT SO MUCH. It sounds like you are trying to bathe a cat! If I had the $ to purchase a new one, I would do it in a heartbeat!

We own the two receiver version of this monitor. We got it on clearance for $30. That is the worst money I ever spent. The monitor cracks all the time so you can't turn it up very high or the noise will keep you up. And with the volume down, you can't hear the baby very well. The lights are WAY too bright so we ended up having to put this in our bathroom to try to use it. The unit wouldn't stay charged so we ended up using it on the charger so couldn't take unit around the house. It does not have the range it claims. Absolutely horrible.

I bought this product 'coz i read the reviews on-line & they were all good. the product is very light, easy to set up & comes in different colors. if u set the volume at the lowest u'll diffinitly hear no static at all, but if u go higher on the volume u'll here it for sure. the point is, during the night, when u are a sleep, u can just put it at the lowest volume & i assure u u'll hear ur baby loud & clear, sometimes i even wish if i can get it lower coz' it picks almost everything (sometimes the neighbor's dog parking out-side)!!! bottom line, i like this product & it's cheap considering how good it works.

Picks up really good sound. I've had it for a few months now and have no problems with it. The only thing I would change is I would like to have the option to turn the light off. When this picks up a noise there is a light that goes off. It's kind of annoying when the noise isn't your child and it is the middle of the night. Still a great item and I would buy again.

I read many reviews about other monitors. Most complained about static. I was surprised when I finally got this one set up and there was no static. The sounds are crisp and clear. I am very satisfied. I have a three story home and it works everywhere.
