Sunbeam MicroPlush Electric Throw

I received this for Christmas. It came with a manual, but the manual mentions not one word about how the “preheat” feature on the controller works, nor whether using preheat is part of the 10 hours of usage before the blanket automatically turns itself off ( as an energy conservation feature). Sunbeam... The preheat feature needs to be added to your manual so customers will know how to use it properly. I would also like to add that the number on the controller is so dim that I can barely read it, even in darkness. My manual is 2020 Sunbeam Products, Inc. P.N. 201151 Rev A

Live here in NEW ENGLAND, plus staying with family in their drafty living room where I had to seal off these windows so it does get cold. Im trying not to turn on the gas bc I CAN tolerate 30 degrees outside ONLY with several layres of blankets. You see, Im trying NOT to turn on the gas lol. I decided to try my first electric blanket to keep me warm at night. Thank the heavens I did. I do have ceramic heater going on at night but electric shouldnt be as much as turning on the gas bc I have the heated blanket to keep me warm too. Even as cold as 20 degrees I can get away with setting it btwn 2 and 4!

I sent this throw as a Christmas gift for my Grandma. She loved it! I'll definitely keep this in mind as a great go-to gift for next year.

I love my new electric plush throw. I'm finally warm while sitting in the evening reading or watching TV! It also came out great out of the washer & dryer. (follow directions) Very happy with this product!
