I guess the product is ok, but the packaging is the worst! Near impossible to get the zip lock bag to seal! And when it does, it is usually open when I go to use it the next day. Very frustrating!! I come to this conclusion after several different packages of this and ALL were the same.

Swanson Certified Organic Hemp Protein has many vitamins and minerals which offers quite a few health benefits, but it's earthy taste may not appeal to many. However, I find mixing 3 tablespoons of Swanson Certified Organic Hemp Protein with 8oz of Almond Chocolate Milk to be enjoyable and refreshing.

I found that this protein powder does not mix well in smoothies--the taste and grittiness. I had truly hoped that I had found a good vegan protein for my breakfast smoothie but I am very disappointed so far. Not sure if it is the manufacturer's product or a fact of all hemp protein products.

I love this product & add it to numerous things, however the last bag I received had an expiation date soon to come! I checked the bag I had ordered months earlier that was almost gone & it had the same expiration date! So buyer beware & be sure to check dates & let customer service know!

This product is as good as it will get with hemp protein, organic and the best protein value you can get from hemp. I used it many times in smoothies and with buckwheat as a oatmeal substitute but I still feel stuck with this product before it expire.It taste okay but it takes a lot to get a lot of protein that a whey or iso protein powder could give you and it's full of soluble dietary fiber so it needs water with it.
