I have a small front/back yard that is destroyed by moles/voles. I purchased three of these last summer and put one in front, side and back. I found the best way to install them is after a rain when the ground is soft. make sure to put it in a sunny spot and all the way into the ground (clockwise turning while pushing down) with only the screen showing. (I have seen a couple of yards who have these sticking up out of the ground!) I check them every few days and wipe the screen just to be sure it's clean enough to charge. They do get rid of the offending pests in the yard if installed correctly.

I tried this in a fenced in area of our front yard. Works great, we've had it there since the spring and not one mole hill, you can see where they stop at the fence line

I have spent $60 on these things and still have moles! I verified that they are working and the moles just go around them. Very frustrating.

These work great in areas that get a lot of *full* sun each day.
