Swiffer Sweeper Dry Sweeping Cloths Sweet Citrus & Zest, 16.0 CT

Want to know a dirty secret? I recently moved into a new house with tile floors. I wasn't sure how to clean them.. so I never did.... until now. I was so happy to receive the Swiffer Wipes and try them out.The smell is amazing and it's relatively easy and fun to clean. Want to know another dirty secret? The Swiffer is a winner! The dry side sticks dog hair like a champ and leaves very little left on the floor. The wet wipes (ha!) are incredibly wet and leaves almost no streaks on my tile. I used to hate cleaning the floor using the old mop and bucket but with Swiffer Wet Cloths I have retired the old mop and bucket and will never go that route again. Cleaning up is so easy, just put the cleaning pad on and the dirt is gone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The sweeper/mopper feels cheap. I could easily see myself breaking the handle in half. In fact, I broke the head off of it while mopping for five minutes. It reattached, but made the exercise more cumbersome. The pads are way too wet. I was initially going to use it on my laminate, but I didn't feel comfortable with that so stuck to my tile. It took three pads to do a my kitchen floor which is, admittedly, large. Not sure how reasonable that would be going forward. Both my Rubbermaid Mop and Shark can do my kitchen and other rooms without needing a new pad. Overall, it's just not effective or sturdy enough to be anything more than a "quick cleanup" option that isn't particularly quick. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I've been a fan of swifter for a long time and have used this brand as an alternative to the traditional mop for years. While trying out this specific product, I loved the lavender scent that came with it! It left the house smelling fresh and clean. The wet pad itself wets the floor very well initially, but dries up quickly as you continue mopping. It was helpful to quickly cover the whole surface area while the mop was still quite wet and then go back and really scrub to clean. This is a "buy again" product and I highly recommend it.
