I love this cutlery set. In our house, every single day from scratch, and this set is perfect for us. The set comes with 3 knives and cutting board and a cutting mat. This set is of amazing quality, knives are very sturdy, sharp, and easy to hold in hands while using it. Knives come with a sheath, which is amazing for safety reasons. The cutting board and cutting mat are the perfect sizes for a small kitchen or small spaces to keep it. This cutlery set will make a perfect gift for a housewarming or any other occasion.

This set is child and adult friendly. Comes with 3 good sized plastic knives with sheaths, one solid cutting board, and a mat to set chopped food on with a non-slip back. The Tasty 8pc Cutlery Set is a colorful and quality set. The knives are sharp. I like the covers for the blades. Great size cutting board. Very useful set and a nice addition to my kitchen.

My 4 year old son loves using these knives to help us prep dinner. They cut surprisingly well because of thr serated tips, yet they aren't sharp enough to cut him. The handles are a great width for his little hands, and the knives and handles are constructed of a solid piece of plastic, so no breaking. They are really durable and have matching covers to help teach responsibility. The cutting boards are very durable, even when used with real knives. I have not put any of these items in the dishwasher, but they are easy to clean by hand. We have successfully cut cucumbers, tomatoes, and parsley with the knives. Three different sizes gives the little guy a chance to make decisions.

Full disclosure, I didn't know these were expressly for kids when I got them. I don't have any kids so I don't know expressly how they work with tiny human hands. I thought it was just kid save, but I guess I didn't know what that meant exactly. I will say it's easy to grip and very lightweight. This may be a good thing for parents, but to me, I think it makes it seem more toy-like than an actual knife a kid may respect as a kitchen tool. I tested the serrated edge on a loaf of crusty bread and it barely got through that. It started to shred my loaf so I didn't even finish the cut. I feel like, yes, you can give a kid something softer to cut, and they'll feel super helpful. But if you have a budding mini-chef who's really trying to learn how to use real knives, don't get this. However, I will say they should be totally safe with these. I mean if they tried they could cut themselves, but I doubt they'll get any real cuts with just a normal slip-up. The two cutting boards are nice. They are likely made sturdy enough to use with these knives b/c they did retain some cut marks when I used this with a regular knife. I do think it would make a nice gift for a young kid to make them feel special having their first starter knife and board set.
