Tasty Stainless Steel Chef Knife Cutlery Set with Shears, Royal Blue, 4 Piece

This feels like a high end knife. It is stainless steel from tip to the end of the handle--1 solid piece. It has a nice heft to it when you hold it. The blade is serrated which helps slicing through bread such as french loaves--which I do frequently. I've used it to cut apples, pears, bread, steak, etc---all with ease. I was really impressed how it cut through my lamb steak. Sometimes it can be tough cutting through meat fibers but this knife just sliced right through without have to saw with force. The knife changes color towards the end. It goes from steel color to fading into a medium blue color. It comes with 2 little knife guards that go on the tip and the sharp end of the knife for safety. Just pop them off to use the knife. I think you can throw these away but I kept them. The knife also comes with a little blue case to slide the knife in when you are done using it. Washing it is simple. It says to hand wash. I'm a dishwasher kind of person so this could be a con. But hand washing 1 knife really is not too much of a bother. Overall this is a great knife. Cuts great and has the look and feel of a higher end knife.

I loved this knife. It cut precisely and effortlessly. I cut tomatoes, cucumber, leaves vegetables, apple, pear...etc. literally everything. I used it to cut meet, it did great job. I loved this cover for the blade this makes it great for picnics. Very elegant look. This metal handle is the best as one piece blade. What really make it awesome is that it cut loaf bread, cakes so nice makes me want to buy 6 or 7 pieces to enjoy my kitchen. I recommend to family and friends, and want to buy more so badly.

The Tasty Megatoku knife is an oversized santoku blade. It is made from high-carbon stainless steel with a scalloped blade. I really like that the blade and handle are all one piece. The red on the handle is part of it, not a coating so I expect there to be no flaking like I've experienced with some other knives, nor will there be any problems with the blade and handle connection since it is one piece. It is very comfortable to hold. This also comes with a matching plastic red cover to protect the blade when it is not in use. This allows me to be able to safely store it in a drawer. I can use this blade to chop fruits and vegetables with ease and it cut through the core of a head of cabbage with no problems. It makes quick work of all my kitchen prep and I can make many delicious recipes with a sharp blade and chopping everything. As with all my knives, I hand wash this as soon as I am done with it. To maintain the best of the blade I do not put it in the sink and I dry it with a towel before putting it away.

This knife is really great for multiple purposes. Because it has the serrated edge to it, I am able to slice through bread and cakes, as well as meats and vegetables. it is nice and sharp, and I have no problem cutting through everything. It's a nice weight, and easy to handle. I also love the fact that it has its own sheath to go into. It not only protects the knife, it protects me from grabbing it the wrong way in the drawer and cutting myself. I highly recommend this knife.

This knife has become my go to knife. As soon as i got it i knew it would be the knife I always wanted. It's sharp as a razor. It easily cuts through a pineapple and a watermelon skin is no contest for this beautiful knife. It is very well made and the design makes it very easy to hold and cut. I;m very happy i chose this knife and i look forward to a lifetime of easy cutting.
