Tasty Stainless Steel Garlic Press with 2 Compartments for Mincing or Slicing, 0.3lbs, Royal Blue

My husband and I decided to use this to press fresh garlic rather than just chopping it up with a knife. It was real easy to use as the grip is made with good size handles. You just put in the fresh garlic and then squeeze the handles together. It works really good and makes it simplified to have pressed garlic. We decided to put it into the dishwasher to wash and though it is dishwasher safe, it did not get it very clean. There was a lot of residue left on it. So I would recommend either handwashing it or clearing the garlic away before putting into the dishwasher. When you do put into the dishwasher, you will want to move the metal part away from the handles to help it get a good clean too.

I have always wanted a garlic press. I cook a lot and go through more garlic than the average person . Before , I would use a small grater for minced garlic, but that can get hard on your fingers. This makes it much easier. You jut peel your garlic and toss it in whichever section you choose. One area minces it and the other slices. Then, you simply close the handle and voilà. It have easy grip handles and is very simple to use. The section that minces does leaves a little garlic behind, whereas the slicing side leave nothing. It definitely cuts down time. Especially if you are a garlic lover and use a bunch at one time.The best part is that it is dishwasher safe!

I'm super impressed with this garlic press! It's hefty but fits comfortably in my hand. The plastic doesn't feel cheaply made so I'm not worried about how long it'll last. I love the bright blue color of it and that it has 2 different methods to press the garlic. I know I will be using this regularly!

The garlic press works well for both crushing and slicing. The slicer blades are super sharp and cut thru smoothly. It cleans easily, which is a plus for those who hate doing dishes. My only concern is the plastic handles have some give to them. I am worried it may not last long, or it may snap when certain strong gripped folks squeeze it too hard. Other than that, great garlic press.

I have been using fresh garlic a lot more lately to cook amd kept meaning to buy a garlic press. I received this from the Walmart spark reviewer and couldn't be happier with it. It's a great product, well made and very handy. I would recommend buying this product!
