Ticonderoga Laddie Wooden Pencil #2 Soft Lead Dozen (X13304X)

I had gotten these for my son who is in 4th grade and still having trouble with his writing skills. His special education teacher and PT has been helping him use these pencils to improve his writing. Its a slow process but is improving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an educator, I am a big fan of Ticonderoga pencils. As all the pencils from Ticonderoga, this line of "Laddie" pencils is strong with durable and easy-to-write with graphite lead. They are far superior to other pencil brands in their lead color and writing ability. My only two critiques are 1) The erasers are just okay. They are neither horrible or great. You can still see some pencil marks after erasing, but they don't leave horrible streaks like other terrible eraser brands. 2) This critique is a big one...my electric pencil sharpener was too small to sharpen the Laddie pencils! I specifically picked these pencils for my toddler's tiny fingers to grasp easier, but I didn't think about how I would have to sharpen them. I had to take them to work with me and find an old manual pencil sharpener that had multiple size options to even test out my pencils. My advice is make sure you have a pencil sharpener that fits these thicker pencils before you purchase them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ticonderoga pencils are the best pencils on the market! They are strong, durable, and long lasting. One of my favorite features is that the wood near the pencil pot doesn't have splinters. The wood is comfortable and easy on the fingers. The round barrel of the Laddie also makes these easy to hold, comfortable pencils. When you hold these pencils you can tell Ticonderoga did not cut corners when constructing these pencils!

They are slightly larger than the standard size pencil which is great for children still developing those fine motor skills. These pencils are made with quality wood and provide a smooth and dark writing stoke without having to be forced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best pencils, its easy to grip and sharpen, most pencils are hard to sharpen but these are easy, it writes really good, im gonna be buying more of these soon,i have a hard time gripping pencils cuz of my Carpal tunnel in my hand but these pencils makes it easy again
