The apparatus that keeps the water from spilling out is so easily removed that it comes off sometimes when my son throws it. You can only turn it about 1/4 of a turn at the most (maybe less) to secure the top. This means you only have to turn it that much to remove it as well making it extremely non secure. I'm writing this review as my 2 year old is currently taking it off and sticking his hand in the whole cup lol. I wouldn't recommend this at all unless they have updated the cup to be able to tighten the top down. It would be spill proof if the top didn't come off.
My 2 year old constantly pulls this lid off and spills his drink everywhere. Makes a huge mess every time I have given him these cups. He also loves to stick his fingers in the holes on top which also makes for a messy little treat for mommy to clean up. If you have an adventurous toddler that loves to explore I would not buy Tommee Tippee cups.
I love that it's two pieces and very easy to clea. While this is absolutely the easiest 360 cup to drink from (I've tried a few) it's also the easiest to open. My 18 month old can easily open the lid. When I manage to convince her not to open it... She sticks her fingers in the holes and then it spills... Why are there holes in the top anyways? If you could combine the two piece design and drinkability of this cup with the security of just about any other 360 cup that screws on tight, you'd have something awesome.
These cups could be amazing but the lids on them unscrew way to easily. Or my kids are just too smart. They won't leave the lids on and spill it everywhere. But I do love that it's made of silicone instead of that clear crap everyone else is using. And they are so easy to clean the inside. They just need a kid safety on the tops.
I wanted to love these cups. The cover for them is a great idea. Unfortunately my child figured out how to take it apart and ended up spilling her drink all over herself. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
