I purchased this for a summer trip from Long Island NY to St. Johns NFLD Canada. This GPS couldn't find the City of St. John's Newfoundland which is one of the oldest cities in North America unless you have a zip code to put in there. I'm guessing that most people like me have no idea what the zip or postal code is of the mall or hotel or restaurant they are trying to visit. When I finally found St. John's via a postal code it couldn't find major roads that are as old as the city itself. I had to put this one away and use my older Tom Tom to find my way around. Keep in mind my older one hasn't had a map update in 3 years and this was updated 2 weeks before I left. On my return trip to NY I sat in traffic forever cursing this unit. It would tell me to turn off to avoid traffic and then do a U-Turn and get right back on the 95S to sit in the exact same traffic. Horrible unit. What's the use in getting lifetime map and traffic updates when it cannot find streets or cities and you still sit in endless traffic??????
