Transformers Construct-Bots Optimus Prime Vs. Megatron Construction Play Set

First of all, we received this toy free from BuzzAgent to provide feedback after playing with this toy. With that said, what a great concept! We are a household of Lego fans, and we were pleasantly surprised at how fun these Construct Bots were! The Construct Bots pieces did not feel as heavy or sturdy as similar ball and joint pieces of Legos, and they did not snap together as tightly as Legos, but that is only the downside. The directions were clear, and my Six year old had no problem putting them together with minimal help. I love that they come in their own boxes to store the parts when you are done playing with them, or just putting the extra pieces off to the side! That is wonderful! But the best part of this play set is that not only do you construct a robot, but then it can turn into a vehicle! This is really three toys in one (building toy, robot and truck)! Great concept, and very easy to transform! My son needed a little help with constructing his Bot using the App, and it was much easier to do on an iPad instead of the iPhone. It is nice to be able to extend the excitement of the toy with the App. Overall, this is such a fun toy, and has held my son's interest for weeks now

We received this toy from Bzzagent for free in exchange for our honest opinions. When I was given the opportunity to review this toy I was really excited, my son loves Transformers and was thrilled to test them out. When the package arrived we immediately opened it to find the two totes with all the pieces. I love the thought of these totes so he could keep everything inside of them and pieces wouldn't be laying around for me to step on. All the pieces are sturdy and we haven't had any issues with the durability of the totes or pieces. He automatically went to work building and playing. I love them because he's busy and not playing video games or watching tv. He loves mixing up the pieces of Optimus Prime and Megatron. At first I thought that he was going to get bored with this toy and it would sit in his closet collecting dust, he is still playing with them after 3 weeks. Every time someone comes to play they are playing with them. I guess I know what I'll be buying for Christmas!

So I received this toy to try free from another site and my whole family was very excited! We opened it. Right away. Ther first thing I noticed was the awesome case it came it. Great for storage. The directions we re pretty easy yo gollow. My boys are s little younger than the recommended age so they needed some help snapping the pieces together. So with our help the boys (5 & 6yrs) were able to get it together. The big problem we faced was conveting it from robot to vehicle. It was very hard for us to follow those directions. We are not that familiar with transformers to begin with so maybe an expert transformer fan would of had better luck than we did. The boys still loved to play with the robots and all their accessories.
